Island House, Polperro

Island House is a 16th century, Grade II Listed, 3-storey luxury holiday cottage, located just a few feet from the entrance to the harbour of Polperro, with panoramic beach, sea and harbour views from every room. Polperro remains a working fishing harbour, and most days you will see boats arrive with their catch.

Built before 1603, Island House was first used as a defence look-out, and later as the Customs House during the smuggling years.

This luxury cottage sleeps 5 (+3) guests in 3 beautifully furnished bedrooms, with a well equipped kitchen, 2 bathrooms, and open plan lounge and dining area with a log fire .

Location, location, location! Access to Island House is from The Warren, part of the South West walk, and is situated just 2 minutes level walk from the main part of the village, with its variety of shops, galleries, pubs and restaurants. The area is peaceful and traffic-free, therefore the only sound you will hear is the sea.

The close proximity of Island House to all the village amenities, makes this a perfect getaway for  holidays or short breaks, for family or friends at any time of the year.

Polperro is the perfect all-year-round location. With a superb, mild climate, there is so much to see and do. Easily accessible by road, rail, and airports at Newquay and Exeter International.
